For this website
Terms
These cover the website. A job is covered by what is written on the sheet you are given before the work starts, and by the house policies page.
Nothing here diagnoses a vehicle
Everything on this website is general information about vehicle electrical work and how this workshop does it. Nothing on it is a diagnosis of a fault on any particular vehicle, and it is not a substitute for somebody putting a meter on the circuit. That applies with particular force to the symptom check, which produces an indicative scope from ten answers about a symptom, and which says so on every screen it draws.
Nothing has been measured yet. This is an indicative scope, not a quotation and not a diagnosis. It reads a description of what the machine is doing and names the circuits that would be tested first — it has not seen the vehicle, it cannot know what is wrong with it, and no fault named from a questionnaire is a fault anybody has found.
And in particular
This is not a garage: nothing here is mechanical, hydraulic, bodywork or glass advice. We do not work inside the high-voltage traction system of an electric or hybrid vehicle, we do not alter a recorded odometer reading, we do not fit or program anything intended to defeat an emissions control system, and we do not do security work without documented proof of ownership. There is a page that sets all of that out and names who is on the other side of each line.
What we do not do, and who we send you to
Rates and figures
The hourly rates on this site are current at the date of publication and are said again on the telephone before any work starts. Every figure shown against a job is one of those rates multiplied by a number of hours of LABOUR; parts are separate and are charged at cost plus the published percentage. Nothing on this site is a quotation for a repair on any particular vehicle, nothing here is an offer capable of acceptance, and no work is agreed until it has been agreed.
The symptom check
It is provided as it is. It has no dataset behind it, does not compare your vehicle with any other, produces no score, never names a fault, and cannot be relied on as a basis for a decision about a repair. Sending it to us creates no relationship and no obligation on either side.

This is a demonstration
This is a demonstration website. Woodside Auto & Ag Electric is not a real business, an enquiry sent from this site reaches only a demonstration mailbox, not a workshop, and the telephone number is a placeholder. It was built to show what a small specialist workshop gets for a fixed price. It is also a demonstration of what can be designed, provisioned, deployed and hosted through MaiaHost. Nothing on it constitutes an offer by anybody to do anything.
Every photograph on this website was generated rather than taken. There is no workshop on Hatfield Lane, the yards and fields are not real places, and the five people on the team page are not photographs of anybody. No vehicle manufacturer, tool maker or equipment brand appears in any of them, which is a constraint on the pictures as much as on the words.
